Our Story Emily and Keith met while taking Hope Corps at Wilson University. Classes had just started, and they were participating in their weekly discussion posts. Emily would comment on Keith’s posts, and at the time, he didn’t think much of it. One day, Keith posted on his Instagram story about taking Hope Corps and working on homework. Emily saw it and messaged him, asking which class he was in. Keith told her, he was in the July class, and she remembered him as the one without a profile picture in the class discussion. From that moment on, they started talking on Instagram—mostly about homework at first. They began chatting in August of 2024 as just friends, but Keith couldn’t help but notice how beautiful Emily was. Over time, their friendship grew, and not long after, it turned into something more. They officially met in person on their Hope Corps missions trip during an Intensive Training Week (ITW) in Honduras. It was there—serving together—that their connection deepened. Shortly after that trip, they began dating, and the rest has been a beautiful journey God has been writing ever since.
