Things To Do

FOR CONSIDERATION: When planning your trip, Florida schools start Spring Break on Friday, March 12, 2027. Hotels and park tickets may be more expensive than normal (based on expected demand) and parks may be more crowded. If you plan to visit any Orlando attractions, it may be better to plan your visit and arrive / visit the parks the week BEFORE our party (instead of the week after).

Universal Orlando

Universal Orlando has four (4) theme parks: www.universalorlando.com 1. Universal Studios 2. Universal Islands of Adventure 3. Epic Universe 4. Volcano Bay Water Park For those of you who plan to visit the Universal Orlando Theme Parks, park admission(s) must be purchased separately. You can look into purchasing tickets directly on the Universal Orlando website ( Please click on "View" below ) Alternatively, you can also get tickets using www.undercovertourist.com or www.AAA.com . If you only plan on visiting one park per day, purchase the base ticket option. If you want to ride the Hogwarts Express or visit multiple parks/day, you must purchase a park-to-park pass. Generally, the more days you visit, the less expensive each day is. One- or two-day tickets are usually NOT discounted but you can often find good deals on multi-day tickets on the alternative websites above.

Mardi Gras at Universal Studios

As our Anniversary Celebration will be held during Lent (2027), Universal Studios has a Mardi Gras parade each night (weather permitting). Guests can buy “Ride and Dine” packages that enable them to have dinner and then ride the floats and throw beads to the parade observers. Please click "View" below to check out this unique opportunity. We HIGHLY recommend this…..it’s a LOT of fun! Note: Park tickets must be purchased in addition to the “Ride and Dine” tickets. These Mardi Gras tickets book quickly due to high demand, so start checking availability in November 2026 if this is something you’d like to do.
