Best Man
Hi everyone, I'm Tobi Ojo, the best man. I’ve known Keith for over 17 years, and I knew we’d be lifelong friends since our first encounter in high school. Oddly enough, we went through high school without ever having a class together but managed to remain inseparable. I can’t tell you how many laughs we’ve shared, the memories we’ve created, the things we’ve overcome together and the countless games nights we’ve won. Keith is a light in any room, and he’s someone who genuinely cares about the people around him. Let’s play a game.. walk through a mall, gym, church or function with Keith, and I guarantee that he will run into someone who knows him. Better yet, pay attention to their reaction and notice the natural excitement of seeing him. If I’m wrong, find me at the wedding, and I’ll have Cedis for you. He inspires me every day, and I'm honoured to stand by his side as he embarks on this incredible journey with Anita. A little about me is I’m a Nigerian born Canadian, passionate about family, travel, sports and music. I work as an IT professional focused on bringing value to Fortune 500 companies and I’m excited to see you all and celebrate this beautiful occasion.
Maid of Honor
I'm beyond thrilled to celebrate my best friend Anita's new chapter as a wife! We've been sisters since our St. Simon days (yay to 25 years of friendship). I've had the privilege of watching Anita blossom into the successful and beautiful woman she is today - and she's always been a superstar in my eyes! Who could forget our secret language at age 4? Or how we basically ran St. Simon's administration like our own mini-government? Those were the days! Fast forward to today, and I'm proud to be part of Anita's journey. When I'm not cheering her on, you can find me pursuing my MD-PhD at the University of Toronto, indulging in interior design, or traveling back home to my beloved Jamaica. Here's to Anita and Keith- may your days be filled with love, laughter, and all the joy in the world.

Hey everyone, my name is Elvis Sarpong, I am the brother of the bride! I’m so proud of Anita throughout her life thus far, she’s made my life as brother so easy. She’s grown up to be a phenomenal woman, and now she’s going to be honourable wife to a great man! Keith and I go way back (since we were the age of six). Keith was my first best friend, we met at church in Sunday school. Yes, so he knows it was me before Anita lol! I was Keith’s right hand, bodyguard, and brother. During our church picnics, there would be races happening for the kids. Keith will be at the finish line waiting for me, screaming and cheering me on (I was the fastest kid those times). And right after the race I’ll give my prize to him! I’m so happy that Keith is the one who’s marrying my baby sister, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ll say more on the wedding day. I love Keith and Anita so much, I’m glad they’re taking this next step to become one, and embark on this journey together. I’ll see y’all at the wedding of the year! #ForeverOpoku

Hi there, I’m Michelle ! Anita and I met while in our first year of nursing school on the bus while running late for class. She had this big warm smile and bubbly personality that made me feel less scared in a very big school with no friends yet. We clicked right away like we’d known each other forever. We quickly became the best of friends and nursing school sisters. We’d call each other every minute of the day! As soon as we’d leave class and again after dinner just to laugh and cry and vent. I can’t imagine that I’d have become a nurse without her friendship and encouragement to keep pushing and putting God first! Upon meeting Keith I knew right away that he was going to be a good fit for my dear friend. The way they complement each other and bring the best out of each other is undeniable. I am so blessed to be a bridesmaid and to witness and honour this journey with my beautiful friends. I’m so so excited to be a part of this day! Cheers to the happy couple!!

Hey, I’m Jase. The foundation of Keith's and my friendship has been built over 17 years. He and I first met back in high school and bonded over our love for art, fashion, basketball, and R&B music. We used to have an English class together, and before most classes, Jordan Boswell would put us both in headlocks and make us sing songs, or else he wouldn’t let us go. Mario’s catalogue was our go-to. Did you know Keith has a hidden talent for art? Not too many people know that. I’m still better, though. Never let him forget that. But he’s incredible in his own right. P.S. Could someone ask him for the prayer he said to find someone who matches him so perfectly? Please CC me on that email. Asking for a friend. It’s an absolute honor to see his relationship with Anita blossom over the years. I’m blessed to be a part of their special day.

Hello everyone, I’m Vasty. I am a nurse on a respirology unit specializing in caring for patients diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. I love to travel & EAT. As for my relationship with the bride… Anita actually knew me before I stepped foot on this earth! (Our moms are best friends). Since then we have always been side by side … plus Elvis lol. I feel so incredibly blessed to have had this lifelong friendship and be apart of this special day. I cannot wait to continue this journey and see my sister experience love.

My name is Chidozie Ibeh Jr., and I graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Currently, I work in Detroit, Michigan, as a nurse in the intensive care unit, peri-operative, and post-anesthesia care unit. Keith and I have been close since our first day of nursing school, and our friendly rivalry continues to this day. One of my fondest memories with him is creating an R&B song titled "Slim Thick," which became #1 during our time in nursing school. Many cherished moments with Keith could fill a book, but one that will stand out is witnessing his marriage to Anita on the grand stage. Congratulations to both Anita and Keith on their union. Wishing you both endless love and happiness! With warm regards, Chidozie

My lil sis is getting married! I met Anita at church but she became my sister when our flight left us in Arizona, she became my chargie on our trip to Jamaica and my thorn in my flesh every other weekend. She’ll always have a place in my heart, my friend! Congratulations to Keith and Anita, I’m so happy to be apart of your wedding and marriage 😘”

Keith, you’re the man that made the trenches of nursing school feel like a summertime walk through Kensington Market. We’ve studied together, hooped together, freestyled over random instrumentals, and I want you to know that you’ve lit my life up with a myriad of unforgettable and enriching experiences. Love you brother and I’m excited to be a part of this new chapter in your life. Wishing you and Anita a journey full of love & happiness together, always ❤️

Hi there, my name is Yostina. I am a ER registered nurse and Anita’s only friend who is shorter than her. I’m so grateful to be a part of Anita and Keith’s day. When I met Anita in nursing school, I knew she was my lifetime friend. We actually made it through school together and thriving as nurses. This is the beginning of many more beautiful milestones for Keith and Anita and we’re going to live it up so bring your dancing shoes!!

I have known Keith since high school, and we have built a genuine friendship and brotherhood over the years. We enjoy playing basketball together weekly, and we also attend the same church. It’s an absolute honour to be part of Keith’s wedding and to be part of his support system as he embarks on this exciting journey of marriage.

I’ve known Anita for pretty much the entirety of my life. We met as young kids in daycare, then we journeyed through elementary school and high school together. I’ve always looked at Anita as a little sister since her older brother and I are the same age and have been best friends since we were kids. Even though Anita is younger than me, she’s always had a motherly nature to her and she’s someone I’ve always been inspired by. Her drive and work ethic are truly admirable. She is a woman of virtue, honour, and dignity. She is God-fearing, respectful, and kind-hearted. She is nothing short of a true Proverbs 31 woman. And not to mention funny!! I am so thankful to God that she found her life partner in Keith and I am so blessed to be part of their special day. And as lucky Keith is to have an amazing woman by his side, Anita couldn’t have found a better man than Keith. I pray that God will continue to pour his blessings upon the both of you and as you embark on this new journey together, remember to keep Him first in everything you do. I am one phone call away and will always have your backs even after you both walk down the aisle. I love you both dearly!

My name is Fred Ghassemi. I’m one of Keith’s groomsmen. I’ve known Keith for 17 years now. Everything he knows about basketball from how to play, who’s good and who to root for he’s learned from me. I don’t have a specific favourite memory with Keith but rather a favourite period of time. Keith and I took extra credit classes while we were in the 11th grade and so every Tuesday and Thursday we’d leave school, go get something to eat and play basketball before our class. We became extremely close during this period and we really got to know each other. It was never a dull moment when we were hanging out, just full of laughs and jokes. This is when Keith and I became best friends. He’s one of the most genuine, caring, kind hearted guys you’ll ever meet and I’m honoured to be apart of Anita and his special day.

Hi everyone, I’m thrilled that we are all here to celebrate the beautiful couple! My name is Cathy and I am one of Anita’s bridesmaids. I met Anita at church and she has been a blessing in my life ever since. Anita has not only been a friend but an encouraging older sister and I thank God for the relationship we have built over the years. One of my favourite memories with Anita was when we planned to go out for dinner but it decided to snow heavily that evening. Thinking plans would be postponed, Anita and I still drove through the storm to a restaurant together and had the best time together catching up and laughing. Whenever we hang out, I can expect to get to bed late at night because we always have a good time together. Anita and Keith, I wish you a beautiful and blessed marriage. I’m grateful to have been a part of this special day and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for both of you 💕

Hey everyone, I’m Derrick! Keith and I go way back. Currently leading all time in our 1v1 ball series. It’s an honour to be apart of Keith and Anita’s special day. A bit about me - I work in Tech Sales with a passion for sports and good eats. When I’m not trying new foods, you can catch me exploring new places, barbecuing and giving haircuts.

Hailing from the southwestern regions of Nigeria, my name is Mimi Kwabiah, a marketing manager with a love for cooking, interior design, and all things aesthetic. My ideal girls' night? Sharing a meal over great conversation. I'll play any sport that doesn't require physical contact—swimming and tennis are my favourites, which I don't practice enough; but keep me away from contact sports. I’ll never forget when a young grocery store cashier asked me, "Do you go to church?" That question sparked a nine-year friendship filled with cherished memories and countless pancakes. Who knew giving my number to a stranger would lead to finding a one-of-a-kind friend? Anita, you’re the fierce, funny, witty, hardworking, and caring friend every girl needs in her corner. To know you is to love you, and I can’t wait to celebrate you and your big day!

Hi my name is Richard I’ve known Keith since grade 10, and ironically enough, we work in the same healthcare organization. My fondest memories include teaching him how to drive, attending summer school together, playing basketball, and exploring new restaurants with Keith, given my love for food. I am happy to have witnessed where life has taken him and all the successes he has achieved. I am grateful to witness his union with Anita and to be part of this beautiful day.

My name is Dorcas and I have known Anita since grade 9 and over the years we have grown from friends to sisters. In addition to her warmth and vibrate energy, something I love and admire about Anita is that she shows up when it counts the most. She has always been there for all the milestone celebrations in my life and it’s an honour to be a part of her journey into marriage. This day has been a long time coming… I remember her telling me about Kofi in 2010 in summer school. It’s beautiful to witness a childhood crush grow into a love deeply rooted in Christ and steeped in friendship. I am elated for you and Kofi. Indeed Kofi has found a good thing and may he obtain favour from God. Wishing you a marriage filled with love and laughter. I love you both and congratulations once again Odo. Xoxo :)

My name is Dennis Duku. I'm an architectural designer with a decade of experience. Honesty and courage are core ideals for me and I always try to surround myself with individuals like that, this has enabled me to build a small but powerful circle with the resources I need to progress through life. Some milestones in life for me are getting 3 degrees in 5 years, and I currently have 4 degrees. Winning the AIA Michigan Student Design Award and a couple of others at every institution I've attended. I enjoy playing basketball, working out, and planning events to engage the Ghanaian community in the city of Windsor. How I know Keith? He helped me select rocks late at night for a science project the first time we met. Our relationship is unorthodox, but our ability to be honest with each other creates an intellectual immersion that may leave others perplexed. This is true because we have two very different personalities, but sometimes you need the one friend that keeps you on your feet and is there during pinnacle moments of your life. That's Keith for me.

I still remember the moment Anita sat beside me in our health assessment class, opened her neon orange Macbook and told me she hadn’t started the readings or the paper that was due that week. I too hadn’t started. We would both go on to get A’s on our test, (surprisingly) because we were just two gals that thrived on last minute pressure. I would then get to know her and she became my ride or die, when she sent me her assignments, I would share my notes with her. We would both wake each other up at 4 am to start studying for the exam .. that same day. From the gruelling years of nursing school, then watching her apply for and complete her Masters, to now working her big girl job at UHN - Anita is that kind of friend that God puts into your life to inspire you to do better. Finding that No Gatekeeping Gang in a friend is hard, and Anita was 100% the friend that we all don’t deserve. After meeting Professor Keith for the first time I just knew this was a couple that strives for greatness but made sure their friends are eating with them too. King Keith really do be a king, and he is the nicest, smartest and most HUMBLE guy I know. I just know your students you teach look up to you so much and love you. I’d call Anita to rant about school, then rant about our master’s, then rant about our big girl jobs, then rant about life in general, and now I can’t wait to call her through all the milestones we have left in our lives. I love you guys both and I am so happy we made it here.
