What is the Plan?

Answer

The Plan is for the festivities to take place at The River Lodge in Aitkin, MN (25097 County Rd 11 Aitkin, MN 56431). The ceremony and party will be there. There is plenty of room for everyone to hang out and play cards, sit by the fire, play board games, and visit. There will be food and wine and games with music. It is low key and we intend to have the meal done by mid-afternoon so those who want to drive back to Sauk Rapids or Saint Cloud can do so in daylight.

Really- Christmas Eve?!?!?

Answer

Keith and I wanted our wedding to be an intimate event with our immediate families, children, aunts and uncles and grandparents. We 100% understand that a Christmas Eve wedding is a challenge and not ideal for everyone- that's perfectly ok :-) If you can make it we would love to see you, and if not we will be sending you hugs and Christmas wishes :-*

When Can We Get There?

Answer

Anytime before 1030 on the 24th is fine. We want you to be able to get comfy and have a cup of coffee in hand for the ceremony (or hot chocolate if you prefer) so we can start on time at 1100.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We will be having photos taken throughout the day, so wear whatever you are comfortable with being blown up and hung on our living room wall forever :-) Really though, jeans and a sweater are fine, or if you want to get schnazzy, feel free to do so. Flannel is always acceptable.
