Keishla's Side: Kyren and I met in March 2022 on an online dating site—but fate had a little twist in store. After I mistakenly texted the wrong phone number, we ended up connecting on Instagram, where he in good modern dating form slid into my DMs. That simple message sparked something you all get to witness on June 21, 2026. Our first date was on April 2, 2022. Kyren was the perfect gentleman—so respectful, warm, and easy to talk to. We grabbed dinner and decided to catch a movie afterward. But first, I found myself trailing him to the nearest gas station—because if you know Kyren, you know he’s always riding on E, lol. That night didn’t end with just dinner and a movie; after the movie, we sat in his car talking until 4 a.m. Talking to Kyren came so natural, like we'd known each other forever and we were just catching up. Nassau, The Bahamas—where we’ll be saying “I do”—holds such a special place in our hearts. Just a few weeks after that date, we spontaneously booked a cruise there, leaving from Miami (a similar trip you all get to take with us for our wedding!). Even though we've since traveled to several countries together, that trip will always be my favorite because of the trust it created between us and the intimate friendship it allow us to develop. Back home we were Keishla and Kyren but on that trip and to the world we were now a couple. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months… and now, three beautiful years later, I still look at him and know—I chose right. Kyren's Side: Our story began on March 22, 2022. A day I stumbled into destiny (or maybe just Facebook Dating by accident!). Scrolling through, a captivating profile caught my eye. It was Keishla – radiant and absolutely stunning. Immediately, I hit the green checkmark, only to discover she’d already expressed interest in me! An hour later, a simple 'Hi Ky!' popped up. Honestly, I didn’t think much of it at first; dating apps are full of flirtatious conversations. But there was something different about this one. Keishla was exactly my type, and even through a screen, her beauty was undeniable. I took a chance, shared my number, and we exchanged social media. Then… crickets. I waited all day for her text, but it never came! The next day, she posted a video, adorably lip-syncing (because bless her heart, real singing isn’t quite her forte!). I couldn’t resist commenting, 'You’re so beautiful, OMG!' She replied with a sweet 'thank you🥰,' and I as always seized the moment: 'So, why didn't I get that text?' Turns out, she'd texted the wrong number entirely! Classic. Just three days later, we were FaceTiming, and again, her beauty completely disarmed me. We quickly set up our first in-person date. Naturally, I took her to a Mexican restaurant, assuming it would be a hit with her Hispanic background (and secretly hoping to impress her with my cultural insight!). That night, something clicked. We stayed up until 4:30 AM, lost in conversation, a feat we haven’t repeated since (our bedtime is a strict 9 PM now!). It felt like we’d known each other forever, a true  Synergy. From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable. Our journey together has been one of discovery, not just of each other, but of ourselves as a couple. There was never a doubt in my mind that Keishla was the one I wanted to spend my life with; it was just a matter of finding the perfect moment to ask. We've traveled, and experienced ups and downs, but through it all, our bond has only grown stronger. With God and faith as our guides, I can't wait to see what beautiful adventures await us as we continue to evolve, together, every single day.
