Keisha and Vincent met for the first time in December 2019. Keisha had known Vincent's twin sister, Valerie, an amazing nail technician, for many years but had never met him. Keisha was scheduled to meet for a nail appointment at Valerie's place but was greeted at the door by Vincent. While Vincent's initial thought was that he had met the woman of his dreams, Keisha did not initially notice him. For him, it was "love at first sight." For her, he was a man in the way of a woman who just wanted her nails done. Following their first encounter, they saw each other a few times and exchanged brief conversations. Eventually, Keisha noticed Vincent's charm and humor, coupled with how attractive he is. He finally asked for her number in February and she gave it to him. They talked on the phone for hours and had 2 dates prior to the pandemic. Instead of drifting apart, the pandemic allowed their relationship to blossom. During that time, they were able to spend quality time getting to know each other. Prior to meeting her love, Keisha had been single for 8 years, praying that the Lord would hide her until she met her mate. In her prayer, she asked the Lord for a man that would not only love and cherish her, but her children as well. The Lord honored her prayer and sent the man she would like to spend the rest of her life with. While waiting patiently *wink,* she found herself serving in her church while raising her 2 amazing daughters. Prior to meeting Keisha, Vincent had begun a renewed journey and relationship with God. He became a man of prayer and devoted himself to seeking God more. Although his wait was not as long, it was spent praying for a faithful, loving mate as well. During that time spent together, Keisha and Vincent realized that their meeting was definitely ordained by God. It was the love they both prayed and waited for. Vincent proposed on August 2, 2020 and let me tell you it has definitely been WORTH THE WAIT!
