Lajai and Keisha both moved to Houston in the hot august summer of 2015. They met through some friends at a Friday night program. They would participate in outreach with other friends in the group. At a potluck, two years later, they found out they were the only ones that had not seen the movie Get out. ( Now Keisha had attempted to see it with other friends but during the opening credits the theater lost power ended up giving out vouchers for guest to come back at a later date). Lajai asked Keisha if she wanted to go with him to see the movie and she agreed. Unknown to her Lajai had had his eye on Keisha and used this opportunity to get some one on one time with her. Well Lajai worked his way into Keisha's heart and turned a divine movie intervention into their own happily ever after.
