We met in March 2024. We went to an event called G.R.O.W. Battle of the Sexes. Khalif thought it was an event where two genders were battling in a fun game show, but it was the opposite of that. It was a debate about social media dating. Khalif went to the event to support his friends at the time, and Keisha went to get out of the house to meet people, and thought the event was interesting. Khalif and Keisha talked briefly at the beginning of the event, but it ended abruptly because the event was starting. After the event was over, Keisha was on her way out, when Khalif boldly went up to Keisha to finish the conversation they had earlier. That conversation led to 2 hours talking in the parking lot about life, and that day we became friends. Months later, we kept in contact and kept our friendship. Our friendship turned into a relationship, talking over the phone and hanging out doing fun activities like mini golf and road trips, and we became the best of friends, and the rest is history.
