Our Story
We first crossed paths at a family gathering at my mother’s house. Somehow, Mr. Ottley kept me busy running back and forth serving him Panades. I must have served him four or five times! Looking back, I think he just wanted an excuse to see me.
The next time we met, we exchanged numbers, and before long, we were spending hours on the phone, laughing, sharing stories, and getting to know each other. One of the first things that stood out about Donald was his thoughtfulness. He always made sure I got home safely after work, and that simple, sweet gesture was one of the first things that made me fall for him.
Not long after, I invited him to be my date to a birthday party. We laughed and danced the night away, and somewhere between the music and the fun, I knew I had found my soulmate.
On February 14th, 2025, Donald asked the question,
and the answer was the easiest “yes” I’ve ever given. Now, we are so thrilled to begin our forever together.
