YES! Make sure you have an updated passport. If you do not have a passport, routine processing is 8 to 11 weeks and expedite processing (for an additional $60) is 5 to 7 weeks. As a general rule, passports must be valid for six months beyond the date the traveler will exit the United States, however, the U.S. has signed agreements with a number of countries to waive this requirement.
To get from Aruba's Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) to your hotel, it will be easiest to take a taxi. Fares are fixed. Note that some hotels may offer free shuttles. Aruba does not have Uber and Lyft.
If you stay at one of the recommended hotels/near palm beach, you are in walking distance to all activities, fun bars, restaurants, and beach/ocean. Uber does not exist on the island. Taxis are everywhere. Prices range based on distance. Cars are not necessary for the island.
The US dollars are widely accepted throughout the Island.
