If you are looking for a place to walk or spend time outdoors, Forest Park is the perfect spot! It is ~1300 acres, making it bigger than Central Park in NYC. Inside the park are the Zoo, Art Museum, Nature Playscape, and History Museum, and the best part is they are all free!
This is the neighborhood we call home! The French-inspired neighborhood is filled with colorful historic homes, the park where we got engaged, and multiple food options. We would recommend Polite Society for brunch or dinner, and ending the night with an espresso martini from Bailey's Chocolate Bar.
Drive along Hwy 94, and you will enter the Missouri Wine Country corridor. Defiance is rooted in the rolling hills, along with multiple other vineyards. This is a great place to grab some food on their patio while enjoying the view of the hillside. They offer wine tastings of local MO and West Coast wines.
Spend some time walking around the shops and cobblestone roads of Historic Main Street. Grab some coffee from Picasso's or a quick lunch from Salt and Smoke.
Perfect place to bring kids! There are lots of slides and places to climb.
