Jordyn & Nick met at a local bar while he was drilling in town for work. Nick had met some of Jordyn’s friends while he was out one night. They made plans to meet up again but Nick decided to bail. Jordyn also planned on meeting her friends that same night but got out of work too late! The next weekend Jordyn & her friends took her cousin out for the night. While they were there, her friends recognized Nick & called him over to hang out. Jordyn & Nick enjoyed each others company all night & made plans to meet up the next night, but they forgot to exchange numbers. Thankfully, they both showed up at the same bar. Jordyn knew Nick was the one when he didn’t complain about listening to Christmas music on the way home in May!

After putting a deposit down on an engagement ring, Nick didn’t want Jordyn to suspect anything so he also purchased a small birth stone ring as a decoy to throw her off. He had put the ring on Bella’s collar & sent their new kitty down the hall to deliver the ring. Jordyn picked up Bella & opened the door to find Nick on one knee. He showed her the ring on the collar & didn't say much about it so after a few minutes of awkward silence, Jordyn asked him if this was a proposal to which Nick responded no. Okay then. Nick & Jordyn went to Colorado for Spring Break. After multiple proposal attempts & many embarrassing moments of being left on one knee alone with Jordyn being completely clueless, Nick finally pulled over on the side of the road and announced he had to pee. He looked at Jordyn & asked “Are you coming?” She thought that was strange but got out anyways. Jordyn finally saw Nick on one knee & here came the proposal. Without even seeing a ring, she exclaimed YES! It was in that moment that Jordyn quickly realized Nick didn’t go to Jared… he went to ACE! He pulled out an oversized hose clamp & slipped it on her finger. After arriving home from Colorado, a birthday dinner for Jordyn was prepared with both of their families in attendance. Jordyn received many wonderful gifts that night but the best was saved for last. Nick handed her a box and to her surprise, the box was empty. Next thing she knows, Nick is down yet AGAIN on one knee, but this time holding the most beautiful ring. <3
