Being that it is the 21st Century, we met accordingly...online! We decided to meet in person for a dinner date on a Wednesday evening. Greg picked the place, Maestro's Steakhouse in downtown Houston. We later learned that we both wanted to cancel our dinner plans a few hours before our date, as it was the middle of the week and we both had to be up early for work the next morning (thankfully neither of us did)! I was new to Houston and got lost on the way to the restaurant which caused me to be 20 minutes late but Greg was such a good sport and sweet enough to wait. The date turned into a four hour dinner and we found ourselves closing down the restaurant with the staff. On the way home from the date I sent my Mother a text that read, "I have met the man I am going to marry." And well, the rest is history...
