Keilani and Tim met during their senior year of high school, but were not high school sweethearts. They met in one of their classes (honestly its a toss up between aviation and forensics). They bonded over their shared love over a band called Nickelback. The two of them had a free hour during their last semester of where they spent jamming out to music and landing (more like crashing) virtual planes. After graduation they didn’t talk for over a year. It wasn’t until Keilani sent Tim a Nickelback parody video about quarantining that they started talking again. Once they started, they never stopped. Tim ended up asking Keilani out and on 10/18/2020 they made their relationship official. Their first date was at a haunted house and they have made this an annual date since then. Over the five years they’ve gone to concerts (one of which being Nickelback), on trips, and countless dates. For their four-year anniversary they decided to book an Airbnb in the middle of nowhere. Before they went to a nice dinner to celebrate their anniversary (10/18/2024) Tim mentioned wanting to take photos. Keilani offered videoing it and taking screenshots throughout. Unknowingly, Keilani ended up videoing Tim’s entire proposal.
