Keila and Jorge met in the Emergency Department that they both worked at over the summer of 2021. Jorge, a shy and quiet person, was seeking to make new friends. Jorge was immediately drawn in by Keila’s blue eyes in her photo on the new employee board in the break room. Their relationship started with friendly teasing and pranks on each such as leaving long lines of sticky notes that may or may not have included dad jokes. The more the interactions continued the more Jorge found himself becoming more infatuated with her. They would find themselves a bit sadder when they weren’t working on the same days. Eventually Jorge built up the confidence and asked Keila out to go shooting with him to which she said yes! However in her excitement and nervousness she had forgotten to give her number. Jorge had to then once again brave the uncertainties to reproach and ask her for her number. After a very successful first date at the shooting range both of them found that they desired to see each more and more, the rest is history. -Jorge
