What do I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable yet feel beautiful! Think: Sunday BEST meets country dance! Bride, groom and wedding party will be dressed up and wearing cowboy boots. Day and evening will be warm. Night will get chilly. There will be dancing and a giant bonfire so bring a jacket/ coat. Again, we want you to look and feel beautiful. This is not a black tie affair by any means. But it also is not a casual event. (helpful tip: google country wedding attire / boho wedding attire) No jeans please (Unless you are planning on rocking a tight wrangler with a BITCHEN pearl snap shirt and your award winning rodeo buckle. in which case- we appreciate your irony and sick threads- so in that case, yes please)

Is this a kid friendly wedding?

Answer

Our kids are a BIG part of our love story! Not only did we want to celebrate our love for US, we wanted to celebrate it for THEM! This is their day too! Which means we wanted to make sure to have a child friendly event! The venue is perfect for kids to run around and there is even a large bounce house. We did not add kids to the RSVP list but please reach out to us personally to let us know how many of your kiddos plan to join you!

What is the weather like in September in colorado?

Answer

September is THE BEST season in Colorado. We call it the September splendor! The days are warm. ranging from high 70's to 80's. this is a high country mountain town. It is dry and closer to the sun so it will feel warmer in the sun. Cool in the shade. Evening and night is always chilly. Usually sunny but there can be rain. What is there to do in Gunnison?

Answer

Gunnison is a rural mountain town. About 30 miles north is the beautiful and quaint town of Crested Butte with hiking, camping, shopping and downtown life. Gunnison is a small town with a high adventure focus You have the option of mountain biking at Hartman Rocks, floating or rafting or paddleboarding down the Gunnison River or playing at Blue Mesa Reservoir. Rent paddleboards or inflatable kayyaks from Keileen's rental company, Alpine Surf Co or a pontoon boat from the Blue Mesa Marina. You can also book s raft trip, fishing trip or float down any of our many rivers! Gunnison and Crested Butte is OUTDOOR HEAVY! Come and outdoor adventure at one of the most beautiful yet still hidden gems of the Rocky Mountains!
