LAX is the largest international airport we have that is approximately 2 hours away by car or 3-4 hours by Amtrak Bus Shuttle.

Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT)

Fresno, CA does have their own International Airport and it takes about 2 hours to drive to Bakersfield, CA. The Amtrak train available as an option too.

Bakersfield Meadows Field Airport (BFL)

We have our own airport in Bakersfield, that you can choose to land in after a layover from either (BFL or FAT) international airports. It can be a bit more pricey but it is an option if you want to forgo the long drive or train/bus.

Depending on your arrival location (LAX or FAT), the Amtrak might be an option you may want to consider if you do not want to drive/commute for 2+ hours. However, once you are in Bakersfield, you will have to utilize a rideshare company or rent a vehicle. See below for some rental car companies.
