How is it that something you think could be so inconsequential as finding a college roommate would turn into a life together? "But what if we just kept living together, we get along well enough," we had said sometimes in 2020, when the time to renew leases rolled around. And then I suppose when you start dating partway into that second lease and you're already living together you could keep doing that. And then you do one more time after you graduate and you'd finally like to have off-street parking. Three summers and three apartments later, we're engaged. That's very cool, isn't it?
