The first time Keetra and Jason met, was a Friday night in March of 2015. Jason tagged along with their mutual friend, Nic, to Keetra's place because he'd promised to put a piece of furniture together for her. Keetra didn't have any furniture yet, and the first thing she noticed about Jason was that he paced around...A LOT. But eventually, he sat down on the floor, and played the Playstation with her then 9 year old son, Nick. Then they broke one of her favorite wine glasses throwing a ball around the apartment. Needless to say, it turned out to be a memorable first meeting. There would other times they'd both hang out with Nic together. But the night that really started it all was on May 2, 2015. They were at at fight watch party at Nic's girlfriend (now wife) Tati's house. After a couple of drinks and conversation, for some odd reason, Keetra dared Jason to kiss her. He took that dare. From then on, there would be urgings from Nic and Tati for them to date. But it took them a while to figure it out.
July 3, 2017 - a bunch of friends went to Jason's new apartment to watch the fireworks in Addison Circle. Keetra showed up too. This would be the first time in years that Jason and Keetra would start back up their flirtation. A month later they would see each other again in a small group setting. Then finally, one day in September (the 29th, to be exact), Keetra decided to text Jason to ask if he wanted to grab a beer; she was in the area. Even though he was home watching his beloved Longhorns play football, he decided to take her up on the offer. They have been inseparable ever since. Since that night in September, Jason and Keetra have grown in love and adoration for one another. And Jason has developed a wonderful and loving relationship with his future step-son, Nick. Over the past 2 and 1/2 years, the three of them have grown into a beautiful, blended family. After moving in together last summer, and growing as a family unit, Jason asked Keetra to be his bride. They were engaged to be married on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
