FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 11:00 am. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes prior to the celebration. There will be an attendant out front who will help direct you in parking your car, and someone will be at the door to direct you to the ceremony site and verify your proof of vaccine. To speed up this process, please feel free to email/text/facebook message us a picture of your proof of vaccination and we will confirm you on the entry list.

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

We are getting married at The Hillcrest Estate in Pavilion, NY. The address is 1940 Craig Rd, Pavilion, NY 14525. It is located 35-40 minutes outside of Rochester and 15-20 minutes outside of Geneseo. We recommend having a hard copy of GPS directions in the event your cell service is spotty. For any directional issues the day of, please contact the Bride's mother Diana at (585) 730-3459. The ceremony and reception will both be taking place at the Hillcrest. For more information regarding the schedule of events, please see the "Schedule" section of our site. Official venue site: https://www.thehillcrestestate.com/

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes. If not, we look forward to celebrating with just you!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please. This will be a luncheon style reception, so we recommend wearing something nice but it doesn't have to be too fancy.

Question

I have special dietary restrictions - will I be able to eat anything?

Answer

Our friends and family follow a variety of special diets. In order to accommodate everyone as best as possible, much of our menu will be vegan friendly. Food will be served buffet style and everything will be appropriately labeled. Those with gluten allergies are being given separately plated food. If you have an allergy we are unaware of, please let us know beforehand so we can make sure there will be something for you to eat!

Question

Will there be drinks?

Answer

Of course! There will be 2 hours of open bar from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. A selection of wine and beer will be available, as well as water and coffee. If you plan to drink alcoholic beverages, please make sure to bring your ID because you will be carded.

Question

When can I take photos?

Answer

We are asking everyone to please keep the ceremony technology free. We have hired a professional photographer who will make sure our "I do" moment is captured. Feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you like throughout the reception.

Question

Why are you requiring proof of vaccine?

Answer

To put it simply, the COVID pandemic is still ongoing. Though things are getting much better here, it is still possible to spread the infection to unvaccinated individuals. The health and safety of our friends and family is of utmost important to us, and we will not take any undue risks.
