Officiant/Matron of Honor
I met Heather my first year of Grad School at UGA. She worked in the lab next to me and we saw each other every single day but it wasn't until our final years there that we realized we were essentially twins separated at birth. We discovered we had not only the same phone and case, but clothes, shoes, and a shared obsession with everything Taylor Swift. She became my closest friend as we supported each other through general grad-school chaos and PhD defenses. We used to joke all the time about being sisters, but little did either of us know that it would someday become a reality. She is my dearest friend (therefore Matron of Honor), but since she made our relationship possible, George and I could think of no one better to officiate our ceremony and officially pronounce us husband and wife.
Maid of Honor
When I met George I knew he had a LOT of brothers, but the person I was most excited to meet was his younger sister Sarah. Unfortunately I had to wait a while to meet her because she was globe-trotting in Germany at the time. Sarah is one of the kindest and most sincere individuals I have ever met and we never fail to have a good time together. Frankly, Heather, Sarah, and I together is a force his brothers just don't know what to do with. I am so honored to have her stand beside me on our special day knowing that as we say our vows I'll not only be gaining a husband but a sister as well.
Best Man
In middle school and high school Tyler and I never thought twice about one another. But somehow we unknowingly ended up at SPSU together. Our friendship quickly evolved and by sophomore year we became close friends. We even decided to transfer to GT and spent a semester abroad in France together. Through our travels in Europe our friendship grew stronger and we decided to live together in ATL as we finished our degrees. Even after we went our separate ways after graduation he has remained a constant presence in my life and we have helped each other through thick and thin. I admire his determination and adventurous spirit. To this day we always find new places to explore, most recently Japan. I not only consider him my closest friend, but a lifetime friend, and without a doubt my best man.
Ring Bearer
When deciding who would protect our rings down the aisle, there was no one we could trust other than the newest member of the Kudyba clan: our sweet nephew little Lukas. Disclaimer: This decision was in no way influenced by Heather Kudyba Also be sure to wish him a happy second birthday!
