Mike and Jason met as kids playing hockey, and played together for several years on a travel team in High School. Mike and Jason don't always agree on everything...actually, they don't really agree on anything as can be attested to by anyone who has witnessed their many passionate discussions. Mike has a tendency to play Devil's Advocate, and this quality has often gotten the boys into trouble. From the entire NMU hockey team in college, the police in South Padre to angry old men in Yellowstone, the two have managed to narrowly escape some...interesting situations. Through it all, Lowery has proven to be fiercely loyal to his friends. To this day he is the glue that holds together their group of friends, and would do anything for those he cares about.
Kalyn Hutchinson

Vanessa met Kalyn in 6th grade at Granger Middle School in Aurora, IL. Over the past 15+ years the two have been through many trials and tribulations (including a small period of dislike for the other). They’ve also been through many moments of success and triumphs (dreams schools, dream jobs, New York and beyond). Kalyn helped Jason pick out the perfect ring for Vanessa, and has been by her side for every major moment over the last decade and a half. Kalyn is the most hardworking and determined individual Vanessa has ever met. She is a true inspiration and the best maid of honor a girl could have.
Eric McQuaid
Groomsman
One of Jason's oldest friends, Jason met Eric 25 years ago when Eric was a member of Jason's mom's daycare. It hasn't always been smooth sailing for the boys, from leaving Eric alone and lost on the "Fit Strip," to keeping him up all night at hockey camp, but the boys have managed to stay friends through it all. They played hockey together on numerous youth teams, and Eric was Jason's first roommate in college. He has always been, and will continue to be, the moral compass of their group of friends.
Sarah Murphy
Bridesmaid
Vanessa and Sarah met playing high school volleyball in 9th/10th grade. It didn't take too long into camp for the two to form a lasting friendship. All of Vanessa's most prominent high school memories involve Sarah, whether the two laughing hysterically eating a bag of chips in Sarah's garage, roaming around downtown Naperville, or eating ice cream crying over broken hearts. These girls have been through it all, and always there to pick each other up. Sarah is the most lively, upbeat person to be around and anyone lucky enough to be her friend is sure to have a good time when Sarah is around.
Chris Moore
Groomsman
Chris has been Jason's goaltender since the age of 14. The boys met while playing on a youth hockey team and were instantly the best of friends. In High School Jason and Chris went to the beach, pumped some iron, cruised (usually ineffectively) for chicks and competed for a State Hockey Championship. Goalies are widely known to be a different breed, and Chris continues to be the epitome of this to this day as Jason's Beer League goalie in Denver Colorado.
Jillian Francour

Picture this. It's the summer before Freshman Year of college. Not only do you have to choose your classes and your dorm, but you also have to choose someone to live with 24/7 for an entire year. For two girls who were used to having their own room and not sharing their stuff, this seemed like quite the task. Luckily for Vanessa and Jill they found a match made in heaven. The two could not have been any more perfect for each other as they embark on that awkward period of "old enough to be on your own away from parents but not quite ready to be an adult with responsibilities." The bond formed that first year, was the glue that held them together all 4 years of college. There is no one who has made Vanessa laugh harder than this girl right here.
Dmitri Brown

Dmitri and Jason met in Steamboat Springs Colorado, where both were bartenders at one of the more popular spots in town. In Steamboat the two may as well have been joined at the hip, as they were often seen together playing hockey, stand-up paddle boarding, skiing, tubing, rafting, snowmobiling, biking or out for a night on the town. Dmitri is the go-to for any outdoor activity, and will never hesitate if asked to do something for a friend. He is Jason's "brother from another mother."
Cynthia Miller

If you know Vanessa, you know she is a pretty social person. So does it come to you as a surprise that she met this crazy fun girl named Cynthia through social media (Admitted Students UW-Madison facebook group) and instantly hit it off? The two facetimed the summer leading up to Freshman year, and soon realized they were in the same scholarship program (shout out to the PK Fam!). From then on, the two were instant besties. Cynthia is one of the most loyal, passionate people to know and to be lucky enough to call a friend.
Harley Huddle

Born when Jason was a Freshman in College, Harley moved in to live with Jason when he was two years old. From this point on, Harley was more of a brother to Jason than a nephew. For the next four years of Jason's college, the two were inseparable, going to the beach, playing hockey in the driveway and cruising in Jason's Cadi. Flash forward to today and Harley is now a Freshman himself, having just completed his first year at Michigan State. Jason couldn't be more proud of the man the boy has become.
Stephanie Langlois

Stephanie instantly felt like family to Vanessa. The two met the summer of 2017 after Jason and Vanessa had been dating for just a couple of months. Of the many Euchre games the family has played, Vanessa learned that her sister to be was fierce, fiery, and funny. She's a loving mom to two boys and a caring sister to both Jason and Vanessa.
Matthew Wofford
Ring Bearer
Matthew, Vanessa (and soon to be Jason's) little brother, will be the ring bearer. Be ready for some awesome dance moves ladies!
Mackenzie Wofford
Flower Girl
Mackenzie, Vanessa (and soon to be Jason's) little sister, will be the flower girl. She is beyond excited to look like a princess for a day.
