Postponement

Stay Tuned...

Due to Covid-19 restrictions in Philadelphia, we're changing our plans. Our March 19th, 2021 wedding has been postponed, although we haven't settled on a new date just yet. We'll keep you posted as things evolve & cannot express how grateful we are to have the love & support of all of you.

The Story

Jena and Anthony have known each other since elementary school. Growing up, at one time, they lived on the same street. Mr. Wilson coached Anthony in Pop Warner football, and on game days in high school, Jena would make goodie bags for him as his designated cheerleader. At just 17 years old, they shared their first kiss. Somewhere along the way, during nights at Rutgers in New Brunswick, beach days at the Jersey Shore, and living a stone's throw away in Collingswood, a love developed deeper than anyone ever expected. That "can't live without you" type of love. And now, what seems like a lifetime later, they'll become husband & wife - as it may have always been destined.

The Proposal

March 8th, 2019

On a cloudy Friday afternoon, Anthony and Jena took a drive into Philadelphia for a work get-together. As they neared their destination, a restaurant along Race Street Pier, Anthony suggested they stop and take a walk to look at the water. Beneath the Ben Franklin Bridge, with not a soul in sight and snowflakes in the air, he got down on one knee and gave her the surprise of her life. After some celebrating, they strolled down the block to La Veranda, to find their families waiting - including Jena’s 90-year-old grandmother, Marie. A few cheers (and a ton of phone calls) later, Anthony suggested a quick change of scenery to one of their favorite spots, La Peg. Greeted by all their closest friends, Jena was amazed to see a room filled with so much love that only the luckiest people get to experience. They toasted and danced until the sun came up and will never forget what a magical night it was.
