For Laura and Ginger, it all started in 2013 at AHS, squished together in a love seat couch in Ms. Koehn’s theatre class. From then on, the pair spent the rest of their high school days as best friends jamming to Meghan Trainor, kicking butt on the soccer field and eagerly waiting in line at the Slushy Hut. Off to college they went, sharing many of life’s milestones together in their college Apartment. Ginger and Laura have played many roles together, friends, cast members, teammates, sorority sisters, roommates and now her favorite role yet, Maid of Honor.

From the early days at Martin Elementary, Caity and Ginger have watched each other grow into the women and close friends they are today. From then on life was never boring for the pair, from elementary school to middle school and then their glory days at Andover High School, the duo have never had a dull moment. Keeping each other in their toes for the past 10 years has allowed their friendship to remain strong despite the distance. Caity’s favorite memory with Ginger is walking together at high school graduation. “It seems like a weird and small thing to others, but it was such a special experience to share with Ginger.”

Ashtyn and Ginger started a bit like a movie, meeting each other at college orientation, then again in sorority recruitment, then AGAIN both joining Gamma Phi Beta. Not long after a full basket of Red Robin fries and campfire sauce sealed the friendship for the pair. In the Summer of 2018, Ashtyn and Ginger took their friendship overseas for 2 month where they hiked a volcano in Greece, road a Gondola in Italy and watched the Eiffel Tower in Paris sparkle in the night. After 5 years of friendship, full of love and adventure, Ashtyn can’t wait to stand by Ginger’s side as she takes one of life’s greatest adventure. For Elle and Ginger, it all started while tubing at El Dorado Lake, followed by Mexican food that created the friends who turned sisters that they are today. Being the sister of the groom, Elle holds a special place in Ginger’s heart as they officially become family. The duo has enjoyed years of family game nights, bachelorette watch parties, and Star Wars premier’s creating a special bond and an ever growing friendship. Watch out for the new Kabler sisters on the dance for Summer 2021!

Ginger and Sterling’s story first began in 2016 during sorority recruitment. It was an instant connection for the pair that lead to Ginger and Sterling being paired as Big and Little. Whether it is driving in the car listening to music or talking about life over a glass of wine, the pair loves their genuine time spent together. “I admire how intelligent and driven she is. In addition, I can always trust Ginger to be honest with me. I never have to question where our friendship lies. Ginger is the absolute kindest, most thoughtful person I know and I’m so lucky to have her in my life.”

Rachel and Ginger’s friendship first started back at Andover High in chemistry class. As life would have it, a few years later they reconnected while Rachel went through sorority recruitment at Wichita State. Now official sisters within Gamma Phi Beta, the pairs friendship picked back up like no time had passed. The stars aligned again when Rachel and Ginger were paired up as Big and Little, a dream come true for them both! Ginger served as Rachel’s maid of honor in her wedding summer of 2020 and is excited for Ginger to get her turn to plan her own. “Ginger is the most honestly and genuine beautiful human. She is the cutest big nug. I am so excited to see her getting ready for her wedding.”

From the early days back in forth grade, Grant and Carson were two peas in a pod. From Boy Scout camping trips to middle school tennis, the duo has been inseparable. Grant and Carson have been together through everything, elementary school to college facing all of life’s challenges with each other by their side. “Grant is the solidest guy I know. He’ll drop anything he’s doing to help a friend no matter the request. No matter how much of a hard time we give we can always rely on him to be a friend”

Dating back to the early days of 1st Grade, Jared and Grant have been quite the dynamic duo. After 15 years of a friendship you’d think these two would have gotten tired of each other, but how can you ever get tired of endless nights of gaming until early morning hours. One of Jared’s favorite memories with Grant was when Grant threw a party his senior year of high school at his parents home while they were away. “Grant is a friend that actually cares about you. That is what I respect most about him, he’ll put others first before himself. He is someone I can always count and rely on.”

Grant and Corey started their friendship bonding over a shared sense of humor and all things nerdy back in early years of 4th Grade. The pair continued their growing friendship over the years with a shared love for playing Dungeons and Dragons and reading the same books. Corey is excited to share another piece of life together as Grant’s groomsman. “Grant is a very loyal person and through riding bikes all the time and meeting each other’s families, he has become like a brother to me.”

Grant and Brayden started their story back in middle school driving every teacher they had together crazy. From camping trips, nights at the Kansas State and Vegas vacations, life with those two is just a party never stops. “Grant is about as loyal as they get. He’s a good man, always willing to put himself first (except when it comes to Ginger of course). Him and I are pretty Yin and Yang, personality wise. Grant makes me want to be a better man.

Grant and Grant started off with knowing one thing, they had the same name and that was going to be challenge for us all. Protective of his sister, Grant kept a close watchful eye on his soon to be brother. After years of family events, game nights and shared memories, their friendship grew to feel like a brotherhood. Together they grew close as their two families became one. “Seeing how Grant treats my sister gives me great joy to know that he is the guy for her. I couldn’t have asked for a better brother-in-law then someone with the same name.”

From classmates to best of buds, Jacob and Grant have shared years of memories together. Bonding over a shared love of camping the two spends many nights camping out in the woods together back in their early days of high school. Grant and Jacob spent their high school and college years together playing airsoft, fantasy football and growing close while building Jacobs gaming PC together. “Grant is a very loyal person, he always will be.”
