When they first met, they were two kiddos just starting out in their adult lives. Brad & Courtney met while they were members of Hazel Green Volunteer Fire Department in 2011. Brad had just graduated from EMT school and eventually wanted to be a paramedic. Courtney had just started her career in the legal field. Brad will tell you he never wanted to get married or even considered it. Especially to Courtney. Brad -“I tell everyone that you were the loud obnoxious girl that I wanted to be away from.” They parted ways over time not just from the fire department, but each other’s lives. Brad moved to Columbia, Tennessee where he followed his dream of becoming a paramedic. While they never spoke directly over the course of about 6 years, they still kept up with each other via social media. In December 2017, Courtney decided to reach out to Brad. They spent some time vaguely catching up and exchanging text messages over the course of a few weeks. Courtney eventually asked Brad if he would be interested in coming to visit Huntsville for a drink and to catch up on life. They’ve spent almost every spare day they’ve had together since, and the rest is history. They’re over the moon about becoming a family unit with Courtney’s son, Cameron, and they couldn’t be happier. #KeepingCoutts #KingKeepingCoutts #KingCouttsWedding2019
