Maid of Honor
it was at my Halloween party in 2008 that Catie and I first hung out. We shared a group of friends and the early years of hanging out mostly involved watching movies, singing along to the "Rent" soundtrack or getting dressed up to go to one of the Nyack bars. These days we love crafting, beer, wine, Broadway shows, baking, brunch and true crime. Catie is always up for an adventure and no matter what we do, we always have fun. She is so supportive and sweet! We got engaged 10 weeks apart from each other and will be getting married within 3 weeks of each other and in September, I get the pleasure of being her maid of honor! Sharing this crazy time being engagement buddies has been really special! I am absolutely thrilled to have Catie as my maid of honor for our big day!
Best Man
The Jaguar himself, John has been given the honor of being my best man and the title seems perfectly fitting. I can go to him for anything from getting a great beer suggestion to getting help hiding a body. We would do anything for each other and with him by my side I can be certain we will have a memorable and legendary day.
Bridesmaid
Natalie & I met in 2007 (through her dad, Bob), she's from England & was spending a year in Nyack. It didn't take long for us to become friends & then roommates. We'd go on to live together for only 9 months before Natalie moved back home to England to be with her now-husband, Al. Although we now have to get on a plane to see each other, we continue to be so close! We text as much as we can & Skype not nearly as often as we want to, especially because now Natalie & Al have an adorable boy, Milo. Mike & I had the honor of attending Natalie & Al's beautiful wedding in 2016. We are so happy that they will be joining us for our wedding in the states! We are so thankful for our friendship with the Moghadam family & to have Natalie be a bridesmaid is such a special thing!

Shamus Rodriguez and I first started bonding over our love of Mathematics. Since then we've shared amazing experiences together and through it all I know hes only a phone call away. Maybe one day we'll get to open up our Mudhole Boot business.
Bridesmaid
Nicole & I first met in 2006 when she moved from Portland, Oregon to Nyack. Since she was new to the area, we exchanged info & planned to meet for coffee, but hadn't counted on having so much in common. We immediately bonded over our love of Regina Spektor & have been making each other mix CD's & playlists ever since. To this day I know I have Nicole to thank for turning me onto much of the music I love today. Nicole is an avid world traveler & has been traveling the world both by herself, and with her husband John. In 2016, Mike and I met Nicole & her step-daughter Chloe in Southhampton England for Natalie & Al's wedding! Nicole is full of life, stories, adventures & is just so much fun to be around. I'm so lucky to have such a sweet & thoughtful friend & to have Nicole as a bridesmaid!

Chris provides a level head in any situation. It's been amazing to take these large life steps with you and just like I stood at your side for your wedding I am excited for you to be there for me. While we might disagree in our sports taste I am happy to report Tony Romo is still cancer free!!
Bridesmaid
Michelle, her now-husband Farrell, & I go way back to 2003, when we met at Nyack College, although Michelle was a few years younger than us & was still in high school at the time. Fast forward to now, Michelle & Farrell have 3 beautiful kids, Antonia, Farrell & Michael and somehow amidst their jobs, marriage, parenthood & everything else going on, always make quality time for Mike and I. Michelle always tells it like it is & loves those around her so fiercely. She has been an incredible support to me through some tough times & is also the person cheering so loudly for me through the happy and fun times. Anyone that knows Michelle loves her, & how could you not? I feel so lucky to call Michelle (& her awesome family) my friends & to have her stand with us on our big day is so meaningful.

Not much is known about the elusive Qbert. Nelson is a longtime friend but also a mentor on what to do (and more importantly what not to do) in accordance with the law. You can't have a good time without Nelson there to provide encouragement and he always seems to have golden net on his rear view mirror.
Bridesmaid
Jessie & I have been friends since 2012. We bonded over wine, crafting, brunch, quoting TV shows & true crime. She is a passionate & creative artist and is constantly working on some sort of craft, art piece or DIY something and did some of the most gorgeous DIY projects at her wedding. Jessie got me turned onto "Parks and Recreation" & I got her into the "My Favorite Murder" podcast, so in a way, we'll both be indebted to each other. We also look a lot alike, and i have been confused for Jessie on more than one occasion. If I'm ever in a creative rut, need someone to re-teach me the French knot embroidery stitch (for the 17th time) or want to have a discussion on a cult I just heard about... Jessie is my girl. I'm so excited to have her in my life and for her to be my bridesmaid!
Groomsman
Jesse went from a mentor at work to a great friend in a very short time. There is no other man on this earth I would rather have with me at a craps table. We've shared some amazing times together and his nuanced taste of wine makes him a must have at any and all wine tastings.
Bridesmaid
Erica & I also go back to 2003, when I met her now-husband, Kyle, while in college. Erica is so thoughtful & incredibly strong & a few weeks after meeting one another, Erica demonstrated both of these by picking me up and carrying me through a snow bank while I was in open-toed heels and a dress, and she in proper footwear and pants. But this says a lot about exactly the kind of person Erica is. Our friendship continued to develop over the years & countless bottles of wine & champagne. Erica & Kyle have 2 totally awesome children, Scarlett & Torsten, who Mike & I absolutely adore being with. Erica gives the best hugs. Seriously. You can't feel anything but totally loved after a hug from Erica. I'm so honored to have Erica as a friend and to stand with me as a bridesmaid at our wedding!

A conversation with Matt is one of the most exciting things to be had. We will cover everything from sports and technology to the inner workings of religion and philosophy. I always feel unprepared because of the breadth of knowledge he has on everything. Matt inspires me to learn more and be a better person but we can also have a great time together and focus on the present. I hope the reception lives up to the harbor hill and OVI days.
Bridesmaid
Amy is my brother Corey's girlfriend, but her & I have been calling each other sister for quite a while now. Shortly after Corey & Amy started dating, Mike & I were going to spend the weekend down the shore with them & had plans to investigate Amy to see if she was in fact a good fit for Corey. I think we made it a few hours into the weekend before we realized 1) we absolutely loved her and 2) I am no good at intimidating my brothers' girlfriends. Amy is a loyal & devoted friend who thoroughly loves those around her & is so fun to hang out with. Nights spent with Amy are some of my favorite memories. Mike & Amy have bonded as well over dating Keepers siblings. Amy is a friend I truly count on & am so blessed to know. To have her stand with us on our wedding day is so special to us!
Groomsman
I always value ben's honest opinions on everything. It helps that we agree on a lot of things but where we might see differently is where i learn the most from him. I can usually tell exactly how he is feeling by the look on his face and when he's not giving me music suggestions we are making plans for the next great game we'll (hopefullly) play together.
Bridesmaid
Jill is Mike's best friend, Chris's now wife. Jill & I hit it off from the very first time we met. Jill is hilarious & will have you laughing in no time, whether it's something quick-witted, impersonation, rap lyrics or her spot-on System of a Down impersonation. Jill & I love to craft and have made many attempts (usually over wine or Jill's very strong cocktails) & always have fun together. Jill comes from a large family, who have all been so sweet & welcoming to Mike & I. It's always fun when the Knoll family is in town! When you start dating someone & meet their friends, you never know what you're going to get...I count my lucky stars for Jill (and Chris) & so value our friendship. It means so much to me to call Jill not only a friend, but a bridesmaid!
Groomsman & Officiant
Eric is a person who doesn't just talk about doing things, he'll go and do them. His fearlessness in trying new things and experimenting is so inspiring. The wheels are always churning in his head and even when one of his ideas is working out its obvious the next 5 in the queue are soon to be worked on. Its also exciting when he is working on food related things since I am always a willing taste tester.
Bridesmaid
I was lucky enough to meet Maris through Mike at Olde Village Inne on an OVI Wednesday, or when Mike's group of friends would go to our local Irish pub for a few, that almost always turned into a late night dance party. (If you ever can't find Maris... look on the dance floor.) Over these past few years, we've shared so much of our lives over pints of beer, crafts, wine, Maris' famous birthday scavenger hunts or swapping music to check out. I feel so lucky to have inherited Maris' friendship through being with Mike, and although we don't get to see her as often as we'd like, when we hang out, it's as if no time has passed since the last time we saw one another. Maris is such a supportive and loving friend and I can't imagine marrying Mike without her standing with us.

Darin is the first keEpers brother i met and i immediateLy knew we were gOing to get along just fine. He doesn't just know where the next good time is, he is usually the Person at the cEnter of it. That is just the surface though, you can also find him engrossed in a book and learning new skills to make himself a better man every day.
Bridesmaid
Kristin & I have only known each other for a few years now, but it seems like she's always been here! Everyone knows that there is no sweeter person out there than Kristin! She dates our friend Ben & is just the kindest and most thoughtful person around. She is down for anything and is one of the most successful thrift store shoppers I've ever seen. Her collection of beautiful clothes and interesting decor she thrifted is downright impressive. In the past few years, we've dressed up as pirates, "The Office" TV show characters & (soon-to-be) bridesmaids in Catie & Eric's wedding. We've crafted, ate cheese & drank wine, but no matter what we're doing, it's always more fun with Kristin around! It makes me so happy to know that Kristin will be standing with me & supporting us on our big day!
Groomsman
Corey is a human utility knife and honestly that description doesn't do him justice. He is a wealth of knowledge and completely capable of putting that into action. When he isn't protecting the residents of JC at the firehouse, he is enjoying life with his partner (and fellow OUTLAW ; )
Bridesmaid
Dara is dating my brother Brett & although Brett is a) very much taller than me b) a police officer and c) able to completely handle himself, I still worry as a big sister meeting the girls my brothers date. When I met Dara, I instantly knew I didn't have to worry. She cares for those around her so completely & makes my brother so happy. Family is a priority to Dara & now my family gets to experience her thoughtfulness. But it wasn't until we learned that we share a love of true crime books, movies & TV shows that our friendship was solidified. Now we each have a list of books, shows and podcasts to check out and talk about. I'm so glad that my brother has someone like Dara to support & love him, & that I get to know & love Dara as well. I am so happy to have Dara as a bridesmaid!
Groomsman
Shane is a great person and a fun time to hang out with (if you can get him out of bed that is). He is the type of guy that will add to a conversation with unique and little known information. I always learn something new from him on the most unexpected topics.
Bridesmaid
Melissa is Mike's younger sister. From the first time we met, I felt right at home with her. She is quick-witted, funny & so hardworking. Although Melissa lives in Ohio, she comes to NY to visit and it's always so great to spend time with her. When she visits, we have so much fun attending the Murphy family parties (always a good time) & doing stuff around NY. Watching her and Mike together is something truly special as she looks up to him as much as he is proud of her. Melissa is hard at work on a nursing degree and her and her fiance, Redmond, just bought their first home and have been working hard on it for so long. Mike & I look forward to going to Ohio and seeing their home but in the meantime, I am so excited to have Melissa as my bridesmaid and future sister-in-law!

When he isn't serving and protecting, Brett is shaking hands and kissing babies in PBA related events. Brett is very dedicated to supporting and making the lives of his brothers in blue better but will also make sure to find the time to get on the water and get some fishing in. Now that he's found his partner, its going to be exciting to see where life takes him in the years to come.
