Our story is pretty typical for 20-something couples, but to us, it was an incredibly special night. We ended up at the same party and talked for hours, completely enamored by one another. It was an immediate connection, one we both knew would last forever. We continued the discussion a few days later on our first date at Keke's, and the rest is history!

After 16 months of Joe's treatment for leukemia, his doctors gave him permission to leave on a two-week cross-country road trip with Hannah. On our second night in Washington, DC, we were walking the monuments with close friends. After reaching the top of the Jefferson Memorial, Joe knelt down and popped the question!
