The ceremony and reception are both indoors. The cocktail hour is in an outdoor covered pavilion with fans. The Curry Estate has several patios with seating and fire pits to enjoy throughout the night.
The wedding day attire is *dressy casual* (between cocktail and casual.) For men, dress pants and a dress shirt are appropriate. Jacket or tie are both optional. Please no suits and no denim. For women, a shorter cocktail dress, long or short floral dress, or dressy separates. Please no long cocktail dresses and no denim, shorts, or rompers. The Thursday welcome event is come as you are!
Our nieces and nephews will be the only minors at the wedding reception. Sorry! If child care is an obstacle, please notify us when you RSVP, as we may be able to connect you with a local babysitter.
The ballroom and restrooms are accessible, and the outdoor pavilion is paved and even. There is a short walk from the pavilion to the ballroom that is uneven at times. Please walk carefully. A golf cart is readily available to escort guests.
We are staying at the Inn on the property of the Curry Estate with our parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, and a few close friends. We’ll be there Thursday through Saturday.
In our region, speed limits change quickly, and even main roads sometimes curve unexpectedly. Be safe and avoid tickets:) Main streets (ex. Fishkill, Beacon) are pedestrian friendly. Beacon has multiple free municipal parking lots (see Things to Do.) When heading to the ceremony, Main St. in Fishkill can slow down with weekday afternoon traffic, so please check ahead of time and plan accordingly.
