Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

October 21, 2023

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! As we are being married in the Catholic Church, we ask that all guests keep modesty top of mind when picking out their outfits for the big day. Ladies, please ensure that all dresses cover the shoulders and knees and has a modest neckline. Cocktail Attire is requested for all guests.

Question

Are women required to veil inside the church?

Answer

The short answer is no. However, there is a long answer and I’ll give it here. It is a preference of Mater Misericordiae Catholic Church that women wear veils inside the church. Veiling is an outward sign of humility to God, as well as a sign of the great dignity inherent to women within the eyes of Christ. We would be honored if you would consider partaking in this tradition with us for our Nuptial Mass. Many women use scarves or shawls as veils, so no need to buy a veil simply for the wedding. If you would like to purchase one, I recommend Veils by Lily, Armor of God, or even Amazon! If you have any questions at all please reach out to the bride or groom!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony: there are 2 parking lots available for use near the church. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to secure a good spot in the parking lot and inside the chapel. Reception: As our reception is at the Tedesco Residence, there will be street parking available.

For all the days along the way
