Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black-tie optional, meaning you can get as fancy as you want, but please don't feel obligated to rent a tux or buy a gown if you don't already have one, as a nice cocktail attire will also do just fine.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church has ample parking on site behind the church. The Marriott (located approximately 5 minutes away by car) is conveniently located close to several parking garages, including the Prince Street Garage and the Penn Square Garage. Guests staying at the Marriott get discounted parking in the Penn Square Garage, which is attached to the hotel. There is also metered street parking on the streets surrounding the Marriott that is free after 6:00 PM.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your kiddos, we are extending invitations to adults only, as we want the celebration to be a chance for parents to party worry-free!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided from the hotel to the ceremony, but lucky for you, the ceremony is only a 5 minute drive from the Marriott. Uber and Lyft are also available in the city.

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

To allow ample time for photos and in order to not miss cocktail hour, the couple have left an hour between the ceremony and the reception. During that time, there are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the Marriott that guests can enjoy-- check out our "Explore" page for ideas. There is also a bar/restaurant, Plough, on the ground floor of the hotel, and another rooftop bar, The Exchange, attached to the hotel.
