Question

Will the venue be set up differently due to Covid?

Answer

Yes! We understand that many of you have concerns about the virus, so your safety and comfort is of the utmost importance to us. Please be aware that we've worked with the staff at our venue, Mallard Island Yacht Club, to re-imagine the space so that we can follow state guidelines and create an environment that feels safe for our guests. That said, the team at Mallard has helped us maximum use of the outdoor space for our entire event. What about masks? Is this event BYOM?

Answer

Sure, you're welcome to bring your own favorite sequined face-covering but we'll also be providing (super cute) masks for all our guests! State guidelines recommend they be worn except while dining & all staff members will be masked.

Eek! What if I forget my hand sanitizer?

Answer

No worries! We'll have you covered with personal bottles for all + stations. Hand sanitizer will be as plentiful as the WINE-- please take lots of BOTH!!

What should I wear?

Answer

Clothes. Haha ... no seriously, we need you to wear clothes, but specifically the desired attire is semi-formal, so suits, blazers, slacks, and cocktail dresses are your best bet. Although we're near the beach, please no shorts, flip-flops, jeans, or sneakers. Since we'll be celebrating outside, you may want to bring a cover-up. Our venue is on the water so at night we could get a cool bay breeze!

What time should we arrive?

Answer

We'd like to get this party started as soon as possible, so please plan to arrive by 4pm.

Can we bring the kids?

Answer

While we'd love to celebrate with your children, our event will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

Will there be a shuttle bus to and from our hotel to the venue?

Answer

You betcha! Shuttle buses will run frequently between the Holiday Inn, Hotel LBI, and Drifting Sands hotels. We encourage use of the buses so that everyone can get home responsibly after a night of fun. Shuttle departure times will be posted as we get closer to the day of the event.

We're driving, is there parking?

Answer

Most definitely ... it's New Jersey, not New York City! Parking is located in front of the venue. For driving directions, please see the lodging and travel section of our website.

Will there be a band?

Answer

Of course! If you know Cindy and Ben, you know about their love for music. Guests will be entertained throughout the evening with live music from NYC's Dexter Lake Club Band.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

If you're referring to the party after the party, fo sho! Immediately following our send off, guests interested in extending their evening should gather in the marina level of the venue, where we'll party 'til the early morn.
