Bird's Eye Cove Farm is located in Genoa Bay at 5881 Genoa Bay Rd, just past the Maple Bay Marina. The Farm borders the Stoney Hill hiking trail, where Malia and Keenan got engaged.
Our ceremony is set to start at 3:30 pm. Please arrive no earlier than 3:00 pm to allow the bride to be tucked away. We kindly ask that all guests be seated by 3:20 pm. Unfortunately, no late arrivals will be seated for the ceremony.
Unfortunately, due to venue capacity and vendor estimates, only those listed on the invitation are invited. Please check your wedding invitation for invited guests. Your invitation will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given. If you have any questions or if anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to reach out to us for clarification.
While we love your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding a 13+ celebration. We hope you understand and can join us for a night of celebration.
We’re so excited to celebrate with our favorite people and would love for you to dress up for our special day. Dress code is semi formal. Please no hats, jeans, or t-shirts.
We kindly ask that you avoid colours that are traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams.
We invite you to be fully present with us during our ceremony. Please leave phones and cameras aside so we can all enjoy an unplugged celebration and let our photographers/videographers capture the memories.
Yes! We will have bartenders available during our Cocktail Hour as well as our Reception. As a guest, you will receive two drink tickets - and any other drink you wish to have will be by donation (suggested $2 minimum) the bartenders won’t be able to provide change.
We have arranged a shuttle bus (14-passenger capacity) to transport local guests from the farm to the Duncan area. The shuttle will make two trips: one departing at 10:00 PM and another at 12:00 AM. Due to limited capacity, we kindly ask that guests arrange their own transportation home if possible.
The farm has a long driveway, which will be used for parking. There will be a parking attendant to help direct you!
Your presence is truly the best gift we could ask for, but if you’d like to contribute, we are kindly requesting cash gifts toward our honeymoon fund in lieu of a traditional registry. We’ll have a card box at the wedding for this purpose.
Absolutely! If you are wanting to give a speech during our reception, we kindly ask that you contact Julie at Juliep@shaw.ca or Keenan at (250)-710-5026 to let us know. This way we can ensure we have enough time for everyone.
