Where we went on our first date! Located right across from our hotels. Great spot for tapas and cocktails.
Also located across from our hotels. Great spot for tacos, homemade guac and cocktails.
We have been Remo's regulars for years - and now Kathryn's parents drive up to Stamford for a Remo's pizza fix!
Great Italian spot, located inside the Courtyard Marriott. Also opens early for Breakfast, should you want to fuel up on Saturday morning!
Italian tapas, pizzas, salads, wine. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu here!
Great spot for happy hour, pizzas, pub food and also a great brunch spot!
A biased opinion by Kathryn, but truly the best coffee and homemade churros in Stamford.
Located right across from our hotels. Great coffee shop with plenty of breakfast and lunch options. Outdoor seating, and grab and go back to the hotel.
The Harbor Point neighborhood in Stamford is a great place to walk around. There is a coffee shop, a few restaurants, a farmers market and a boardwalk right all right on the water. Harbor Point is about a 5 minute drive from the hotels.
Third Place is a newer spot run by one of our favorite local breweries, Half Full. If you are in town on Friday night it's a great hangout spot. It also opens bright and early for coffee and breakfast sandwiches! A few minute drive from the hotel, on the way to Harbor Point.
So not exactly walking distance, but there are so many great restaurants & shops in the neighboring town of Greenwich, CT should you want to leave Stamford either Friday evening, or Saturday morning. Greenwich Avenue is about a 15 minute drive. Our favorite restaurants are EastEnd, Harvest Wine Bar and The Ginger Man. Any specific recommendations, feel free to reach out!
