A best friend is someone you value above other friends in your life, someone you have fun with, someone you trust, and someone you confide in. I never thought I would have a sister and best friend all in one. From the time Keena went away to college, I had that separation anxiety, I did not have anybody to annoy or someone to be nosy about. I truly missed my sister, even though she went to college 10 mins away from home. Since then, my sister has been my everything. Keena is just an all-around beautiful person, she’s the type of person that turns heads when she walks into a room. The way her vibrant, bubbly personality projects makes those forget about their problems and enjoy her in their presence. Keena deserves nothing but the happiest in every element of her life due to just being the sweetest person and wearing her heart on her sleeves. With that being said Keena you are the best sister, my shoulder to cry on, my secret keeper, and most importantly my best friend. I am so excited to be a part of Keena and Lawrence's special day! They are made for each other, and I am just glad Lawrence is able to experience how genuinely amazing Keena is. I love you, Keena!

Zanman (Z) is a principled man that values God, family, and legacy. He is married to his beautiful wife Felicia and has three children: ZJ, Taylor, and Tristan. Professionally, he has led a career in banking for over a decade and currently serves as a Multi-Site Branch Manager for JP Morgan & Chase. Z and Lawrence (Shea) became friends in the 4th grade; however, Z’s most memorable moment that solidified their friendship came in 5th grade. Shea was picked on by a new kid from California in the bathroom at Munfordville Elementary. Z didn’t take too kindly to it; long story short – he handled the dirty work and took out the trash. Z’s relationship with the groom is the same as with The Wood (the name of their childhood friend group); it has always been a consistent friendship marred by having each other’s back. Lawrence (Shea) is a neutralizer that is non-confrontational; therefore, if he speaks – he’s generally a person to be listed to at that moment. Z often jokes that if he were to trust someone with his life, he would pick Shea 10 out of 10 times to “take the shot.” “Shea, thank you for being a trustworthy friend and someone I could always depend on, whether assisting with projects around the house or babysitting my kids. I love you, brother, and best wishes to you and Keena on your special day.”

Our moms are sisters, and we’re first cousins. We’ve been close since birth. My first best friend and still is and will forever be 💞♾️🤞🏾. Keena is just a beautiful soul inside and out. She’s a great listener and gives the best advice. I know I can always count on her to be there for me and her kids ( godchildren). My favorite memory of me and Keena was when we were little, we were playing truth or dare in the bathtub and she dared me to shave my eyebrows🫣. Which, I did lol 🤣😂and I ended up having to shave the other one too🤦🏽♀️. I just love the fact that we were able to grow up together close (almost as if we were sisters) and I hope our kids are gonna be able to do the same. We love you to the moon and back 😘.

I grew up in Munfordville aka “The Wood” with Lawrence. Before I really got to know him, he would visit my house with his mom as she was getting her hair done (my mom was a beautician). The more he would visit, the more we would talk and play. From there we began to see each other in school and then we started to hang out, play on the same sports teams, and our friendship naturally became tight. We even attended the same college where we started the process of early adulthood. More than anything, we watched each other grow up and remained in each other’s corner for support. I would describe Lawrence as a TRUE friend. He has always been dependable and reliable. We have lots of funny stories that only we can laugh about, because we have experienced a lot as friends over the past 30 years. Lawrence (Mac) is one of my Brothers!

Keena is my long-lost cousin, whom I found a few years ago! I’m basically like a sister, cousin, aunty, roommate, and babysitter all in one. Keena and I initially crossed paths in 2014 at a funeral and then again in 2016 at a family function on the Fourth of July. If you didn't know them, you might have assumed Keena and Lawrence were already married because of how pure and everlasting their love is in their relationship, filled with unconditional love. You can tell in their eyes they are madly in love and meant for one another. One thing about Keena is that she’s a go-getter when it comes to money; she’s going to get to the bag by any means necessary! Keena also has an obsession with spending money; her biggest excuse now is "BABY LIAM." 😂 Lawrence is a big jokester who thinks everything he says is funny, and it’s NOT 😅, but he can turn on that switch and go into military mode quick. I’m very excited to be apart of the Ewings' special day and for their forever future.

My name is Cedric Vaughn. I am Shea’s FAVORITE cousin that he has always looked up to. Just kidding! I am a cousin of Shea. Me and Shea were together all the time growing up. I would have to go to his house in the mornings before school and during the summer. I witnessed a lot of whooping’s during those mornings before the bus would come and I must say, it helped me release some of my anger since he was so much bigger than me. While Aunt Lola was whooping him I would be in the back low key cheering for her to whoop him a little harder since I couldn’t. He would express his love in a way that was tough. I didn’t always understand why he showed me tough love, but as I got older I understood. He saw potential in me that I didn’t see in myself. Shea has always been somebody that I have looked up to and appreciated. The day that he decided to join the Army was the day that I knew he was becoming something bigger than himself. Once he came back from basic training he was a new person. I respect him even more for it. He has and will forever be that brother figure to me. I appreciate everything that Shea has taught me and done for me. I love you, brother and I wish you the best on YOUR day!

I have memories of us playing at our grandparent’s house, numerous sleepovers and endless laughs. From a very young age, I have always looked up to and admired how driven Keena is in everything she does. I meet Shea as a little dude when Junie Bug and Auntie brought him home to Granny's. My little cuddy. Over the years we would hit and miss one another til we got older but memories were made. Once we were old enough to get into the clubs the real fun began. Lol.... and we aren't going to speak on New York! 😉 Shea is not only my cousin but he is one of my closest friends and I would truly ride or die for him!

Christopher is happily married to the love of his life (Ashley) and shares the privilege of raising their two beautiful daughters (Nova and Oakley). Professionally, he is a leader in public finance and currently serves as a Senior Consultant with Raftelis Financial Consultants. Christopher and Lawrence (Shea) likely met at church during the 90s. Still, the most memorable moment is in 5th grade (1997) when Christopher started school at Munfordville Elementary and allegedly “broke up the friend group (lol).” It’s a funny story for another day. Christopher’s relationship with the Groom has been one of changing seasons. From the time the two gentlemen turned 18, life has taken them on several different journeys beginning with Shea’s tour overseas to defend our Country’s freedom. There are two things that Christopher appreciates the most about Shea. The Groom is a genuine person without ego and with pure intentions. Secondly, the two gentlemen have always been able to pick right back up where they left off, no matter the season, time, or distance. “Shea, I appreciate you, brother, for allowing me and ‘The Wood’ to be groomsmen on your big day. So I am Eric II the long but never lost cousin of the groom, straight out of California. Although it took a little time and me moving to Louisville, we made sure to catch up and enjoy life fast. Get us together, add a few others and watch the movie play out ... We are going to have a great time! Shea and I are the cousins closest in age, I'd say Grannies favorites but we can debate that another day... Even though we are back on separate sides of the states I guarantee you get us together and it will always be a whole vibe.

We have shared our share of fight and ass whoppings together, one time we where at grannies house in the front room and we was sliding her chairs around the front room and we hit the glass, he did it but we both got our backside beat for it, to now standing beside him on his special day.
