We prefer and strongly encourage that you do so that we get to spend as much time with you throughout your trip as possible! If you plan to not stay at the resort, please let us know as there will be an additional fee you will need to pay in order to come onto the resort for the wedding.

USD is fine. Major credit cards are widely accepted, but could be subject to high fees. In fact, most excursion/transportation vendors prefer US cash, as most do not accept credit cards. We recommend bringing cash to avoid fees and for tips. Locals prefer smaller bills up to $20.

Please download the 'Hyatt Inclusive Collection' app on your phones from the App Store. Search for 'Dreams Las Mareas' when selecting a resort. You'll be able to see a resort map, order room service, look at restaurant menus, see the daily schedule of events, and even call for housekeeping. For guest on Facebook there is a Facebook group called "Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica Discussion Group" where you can find a ton of information about the resort, see photos, reviews, tours, and get an inside scoop from previous and current guest!
Some tips! -Sunscreen and pool shoes -Preferred rooms have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Non-preferred rooms do not provide conditioner. -You do not need to bring outlet converts- everything is an American plug -Swim shoes or tennis shoes for hiking and excursions *Ladies- be advised, feminine products are hard to come by in Costa Rica!
Beach Semi-Formal AKA Beach Cocktail AKA Dressy Beach Attire: Think linen or khaki pants, short or long-sleeved button downs or linen shirts, dresses or jumpsuits, and sandals. Please note, the ceremony will be in the sand.
