During the summer before freshman year of high school, Eli and Keely first met at a church camp. They quickly became friends and continued their friendship even after the camp finished. While their contact lessened for a period of time, their feelings for one another never faded. Then, during quarantine, Eli and Keely rekindled their relationship and became official July 14, 2020. Since then, their love for each other has flourished and led to Eli’s proposal on May 24, 2024.
