Bodhi and I met for the first time in person through a mutual friend on a Monday evening back in the Spring of 2019. We met at our local grocery store and then headed off to dinner. Bodhi insisted that he knew me. Maybe from a previous class or training he attended during EMT and paramedic school. Little did Bodhi know, I looked so familiar because we had matched on a dating app one year earlier and talked for a while but never met in person. Bodhi found out who I was the day after our dinner. We continued to meet up through our mutual friends over the course of a few weeks until a Sunday afternoon in April when he invited me to a crawfish boil.
