According to Mike, his parents were out of town, so he invited a friend over to swim—along with a striking blonde bombshell in a polkadot bikini who he claims was Christine. They were already connected on social media, and when he saw she was in South Carolina, he decided to slide into her DMs on Instagram. They made small talk for a while before Mike finally built up the nerve to ask her out. Christine politely declined, explaining that she recently ended a long-term relationship and wasn’t ready. Still, the conversation continued. They kept chatting on Instagram, and eventually, Christine’s mom and close friends encouraged her: “Why not give it a shot?” Fast forward a couple of years, and they were off on a vacation to London and Scotland. Christine thought it was just another sightseeing day as they strolled toward Edinburgh Castle for a tour they had planned with Steph and Jamie.
