We're Getting Married!

Hannah and Nathan’s journey wasn’t always the simplest. It began when Hannah moved to Indiana to start her first professional job after graduate school. In June 2023, they met for the first time at Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity Headquarters. At first, their relationship was strictly professional. But one evening, over dinner with her boss and longtime mentor, Hannah admitted she had a crush on someone in the office — though she wasn’t sure if he was single (spoiler alert: he was). She shared how she was drawn to his charm, sense of humor, and the way he cared deeply for his friends and family. Later that night, fate gave their story a nudge. While out with coworkers, Hannah’s boss mentioned to Nathan that someone at work liked him. Since they worked at a men’s fraternity, it didn’t take him long to narrow it down. He realized he’d always admired Hannah’s kindness, how she brightened every room, and, of course, her unmistakable laugh that filled the office. A few weeks later, Hannah and Nathan began messaging each other, then decided to spend time together outside of work. From the moment they started talking, they couldn’t stop — hours passed before they even noticed. They hit it off instantly. After months of spending time together and weighing whether dating as coworkers was a good idea, they couldn’t deny it any longer. On February 10, 2024, Nathan asked Hannah to be his girlfriend, and of course, she said yes! Over the following year, they shared countless memories — meeting each other’s families and friends, sporting events, crafts, cooking together, and even Nathan teaching Hannah how to ride a bike. They quickly realized what they had was something special. In March 2025, Nathan bought his first house, and the two moved in together the next month. They’ve loved turning it into a home and filling it with laughter, love, and endless projects. On September 18, 2025, Nathan proposed to Hannah on the shores of the Outer Banks in North Carolina, and of course, she said yes, again! Afterwards, they celebrated with Duck Donuts — one of Hannah’s favorite local spots — and plenty of smiles. Their story may have started in an office, but it’s grown into a lifetime of laughter, teamwork, and love. They can’t wait to celebrate the day they become one before God, surrounded by the friends and family who have supported them every step of the way.
