Wait..... aren't you already married?

Answer

Yes! We got married on July 23, 2021, in our backyard on paper, and our wedding ceremony/vow renewal will be on September 8, 2022 with just a few family members. If you know us, you know that we will take any excuse to celebrate ;) So 3 celebrations it is!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We recommend that children do not come to this event due to the location and time of the event, but we are open to discussing it with you on a case-by-case basis! Hatchet is on a fairly busy street, and it is not fully gated off. There will be alcohol at this event. We will not have babysitters available on site, but we are more than happy to provide recommendations for babysitters in our local area.

What is this recipe card thing?

Answer

If you would like to participate, we are going to collect recipe cards from guests and turn them into a cookbook! If you also write your email on the recipe card, we will share a copy when we compile all the recipes. It can be anything from a drink recipe, appetizer, meal, dessert, anything!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend cocktail attire, but please feel free to come in what you are most comfortable in, we are just happy to have you here :)

Will you be upset if we are not able to come?

Answer

Not at all! While we are so excited to see and celebrate with everyone- we are completely aware that this is an unusual situation, and that not everyone will be able to travel long distances for a casual reception.

What type of event is this?

Answer

We are having a casual reception at our favorite brewery! Feel free to drop in, and leave at your convenience. We will have light refreshments, dinner, and dessert. There will be lots of dancing and games.
