What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal / Black Tie Optional Please note that portions of the celebration will take place on grass and garden pathways, so we recommend avoiding narrow stilettos.

Will the ceremony and cocktail hour be outdoors?

Answer

Yes. Both the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, weather permitting, with the reception held beneath a sailcloth tent. Heaters will be provided within the tent if necessary. If it rains, umbrellas will be provided.

May in Rhode Island is typically mild and breezy, especially along the waterfront. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for the evening.

Where should I stay?

We have reserved a room block at The Pell, which will serve as the primary hotel location for the wedding weekend. Additional accommodation recommendations can be found on our Travel page.

Is transportation being provided?

Yes! Shuttle transportation will be available to and from the Pell on Saturday evening. Additional details will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.

Are welcome drinks open to all guests?

Answer

Yes! All wedding guests are invited to join us for welcome drinks on Friday evening as we kick off the wedding weekend.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

T.F. Green Airport (PVD) is the closest airport and is approximately 30 minutes from Bristol. Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is also a convenient option and is approximately 1.5 hours away.

Can I take the train?

Answer

Yes! Guests traveling from New York City or Boston may take Amtrak to Providence Station. Bristol is approximately 30 minutes from the station by car or rideshare.

Only those specifically listed on the invitation will be included in our celebration. We appreciate your understanding.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and seating. The shuttle will be arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Yes! If you choose to drive, free parking will be available at the venue.

What should I do while I'm in Bristol and Newport?

Answer

We encourage guests to explore the beautiful Rhode Island coastline, historic downtown Bristol, the Newport Cliff Walk, Bowen's Wharf, and the many local restaurants and waterfront attractions throughout the area.
