One dark and lonely night in December of 2022, Keegan was scrolling and swiping on his phone when suddenly, an angel appeared on his screen. Frantic not to miss his chance, Keegan liked a photo of the angel, who's name he learned was Gracie. The following evening, on New Years Eve, the two met at the movie theatres. Gracie wore her highest heels, and Keegan was in awe as he craned his neck to ask if she liked butter on her popcorn, to which she gazed down upon him, and said "Yes, lots", and thus their love story began. Over the next six months, the two grew closer and closer- driving nearly every night between their parents' homes in Princeton & Wylie just to spend a few hours together. They met each others families, spent too much money at Razoos, and saw many more movies with "lots" of butter on the popcorn. During their three years of dating, the couple grew stronger and kinder together. They met each others friends, traveled to Denver, Houston, and Austin together, and went on a cruise of the Virgin Islands for Gracie's college graduation. They also faced financial insecurity, illness & injuries, job changes, moving (twice), and grieved close friends and family. Along the way, Keegan became a father to their cat, Beans. These challenges and accomplishments guided the two towards each other and made their connection incomparable. On New Years Eve in 2025 at Gracie's family's annual party, Keegan dropped to one knee at midnight and asked Gracie to marry him in front of her family. The question was quickly followed by a "Yes!" from Gracie, squealing from her aunts, and a very excited German Shephard who pointed her snout at the ring so Gracie couldn't miss it. Now, Gracie and Keegan are planning their wedding in hopes that their closest friends and family will be celebrating with them, as they begin their Happily Ever After.
