Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held at the Oak Brook Hills Resort in Oak Brook, IL. We tried to pick a place for our guests where you never had to leave... if you don't want to! The ceremony will start about 2pm (more details to come), followed by a cocktail hour, then dinner and dancing!

Where should I stay / book a hotel room?

Answer

The Oak Brook Hills Resort has everything - the ceremony, the reception, and a place for you to stay. Cameron and I have put together a block of rooms at the hotel for you; but it is up to you to call and book your room for the desired nights. SEE THE NEXT QUESTION FOR ROOM BLOCK DETAILS

is there a room block with discounted pricing?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms for our guest at the hotel.. you have until 9/5 or until the block is full to book your room. Follow these instructions to book a room: 1. Click the Guest Room Link (says view) on the "Travel Tab" 2. Click the “Book Room” box 3. Enter the Right Travel Dates (Note: Wedding is Saturday 10/5) 4. Enter the Right Number of Rooms and Guests 5. Double Check the Group Code “KWW” is listed under the Special Accounts and Rates 6. Select the Room Type and click continue 7. Fill out your personal information and click continue 8. Add payment and click “Book Reservation”

Question

I tried to book a room through the room block but got an error, what should I do.

Answer

Email me straight away (keefewolfewedding@gmail.com). The system is finicky sometimes and I can help resolve personally. The hotel has been super accommodating so I'm sure there is a little glitch in their stystem. We will figure it out!

The wedding is adults only but I have kids, should I bring them to the hotel?

Answer

We love all our friend's and cousin's kids! While the ceremony and reception are adult only, we of course would love for them to enjoy the weekend at the resort; should parents choose to bring them. Feel free to include your kids at the hotel for the weekend and enjoy a few hours away at the adult ceremony and reception.

How do I get to the Oak Brook Hills Resort?

What time do I need to be ready?

Answer

Don't be late for a very important date! The ceremony will start at ~2pm and we recommend getting to the Oak Brook Hills Resort about 30 - 40 minutes ahead of time so you can allow for time getting lost, park, get into the hotel, and make your way to your seat.

Question

I heard there is a gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour - what should I do to occupy my free time?

Answer

Yes, there will be ~1 hour between the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Cameron and I will be taking a few pictures during this time but we have reserved a room in the Tin Cup and have games set up on the lawn for you to enjoy during the down time. You can also check into your hotel room, utilize amenities at the hotel, freshen up and put your dancing shoes on!
