We're getting married!

In May of 2019, The University of Evansville was taking a group to Mexico for a Habitat for Humanity International trip. Kedzie ended up taking Marshall’s spot on the Habitat trip when he was no longer able to go. It was here that Kedzie and John first met and their love for each other began to grow. Spending time together in Mexico, Kedzie and John learned that they had quite a bit in common. Kedzie loved the way John made everyone laugh and seeing how passionate he was about helping others. John loved Kedzie’s drive to connect with everyone and watching her put all her effort into making a difference. While Kedzie and John tried to be somewhat secretive about the fact that they were falling in love, when Kedzie asked Ally(her roommate in Mexico) how many people she thought knew, she said that anyone with eyes could tell. Before the end of the trip, people were joking that there would be a Habitat wedding in the future. When John returned home, he told his mom that he thought Kedzie might be the one, and he was right!
