Hudson Valley - New York State
The Hudson Valley is a beautiful part of NY state worth exploring. The town of Glen Spey, where our venue is located, is situated only 40 minutes from Catherine's hometown of Wantage, NJ, so lots of our recommendations are placed somewhere in between. While there aren't tons of bars and restaurants to try while you are in the area, there are certainly a handful of hidden gems that we'd recommend. Whether you choose to explore or not, you'll be sure to notice the beauty of the area when you drive to our venue. People are always parked at the Hawk's Nest to take pictures of the incredible view. Be careful as you approach this spot while driving! Lots of people park here to take pictures of the view. If you choose to stop, please make sure you're visible to any approaching cars.
High Point State Park

The tallest point in New Jersey is the High Point Monument which was built in 1928. At the top of the peak you can view the Pocono and Catskill Mountains as well as the Wallkill River Valley. Catherine took many hikes here with friends and family growing up.
