Huckleberry Roasters

Keaton's favorite coffee spot. This used to be Allegro Coffee Roasters, and we came here every Saturday for a year. We were so upset when Allegro closed down, but a local coffee roaster (Huckleberry's) bought the space and kept all of our favorite staff on.

Famous ice cream spot. Be ready to stand in line if it is a hot day out!

Rocky Mountain National Park

Although this is a little further from Denver, if you are here for a few days and have a car, we would recommend going to the national park. Keaton and I got engaged here, and have done lots of hiking and backpacking in the park!

Sloans Lake

Walk near our house that we like to do on the weeks with views of downtown and the mountains on clear days.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

Famous amphitheater in Colorado! You can drive up here any day of the week to see the amphitheater, and there are hiking trails surrounding that are fairly light and easy. Depending on how long you are visiting for, you might even be able to catch a show! On July 10th, there is "Film on the Rocks" where they play a classic movie outdoors.

Convivio Café

Madison's favorite coffee shop. Women and immigrant owned - try the cardamom latte!

Urban Putt

Great place to cool down during the day :) all ages until 8pm

Boulder

If you have a full day, check out Boulder. We recommend eating at Avanti, an elevated food court with great views of the mountains, and checking out a hike in the Flatirons.
