Question

RSVP?

Answer

We prefer online RSVP's via our website. Please reply by June 20. Not tech savvy or having trouble? Text Elly or Keaton with your name and number of guests. To RSVP on website: Search your first and/or last name. If you cannot find your name, try your nickname. If we missed a name or your family requires additional spots, please let us know and we can resolve the issue!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

A respectful Sunday best would be a great option for attire as we celebrate the sacrament of marriage at a Catholic mass. As we will be hosting a packed house in June; please also keep your comfort in mind. (And, of course, save white for the bride!)

Question

Registry?

Answer

Our registry can be found via our website. We are registered with Amazon.

Question

Where should I send gifts?

Answer

You can send the gifts to 19203 Edgerton Rd. | Woodburn, IN | 46797 We will also have a table for cards and gifts at the reception. Registries should be auto-set to ship to the listed address.

Question

Why so much time between wedding and reception?

Answer

We have to be out of church by 3pm due to afternoon confessions and mass. Between the ceremony and reception, many people like to find something else to do such as: go to mass, join us for a bar crawl, get ice cream, or hang out with friends at the hotel!

Question

Traditions

Answer

We are happy to be including many traditions in our big day! Here is a quick list of some things you might see with brief explanations: Hog trough, Newman and Spieth tradition: younger sibling (Elly) getting married before older (Seb) so he dances in trough for "luck" (and laughs). Ball and chain, Nobbe/Newman tradition: groom wears until brothers decide to take it off. Wagon ride, Nobbe tradition: bride or groom pulls other traditionally over covered bridge. Shopping cart, Spieth tradition: Renee's cousins stole a shopping cart that Sam+Renee' danced in at their wedding, continued at Evy+Carter's wedding. Billy's, local tradition: newlyweds stop to dance on the bar at Billy's. Chicken Dance, Spieth tradition: late Grandma Helene Spieth always insisted on it.
