We met in 2020 and instantly connected as friends. Keaton felt something more, but I just couldn't see it yet. Eventually, we went our separate ways. But in December of 2020, Keaton reached out asking if he could FaceTime me - and that call reminded us both why we had mattered so much to each other. Our "thing" had always been FaceTiming: just being in each other's presence, even virtually, brought a sense of peace and comfort we hadn't felt anywhere else. Life was complicated - Keaton was a single, devoted dad to Myles, and I was working crazy hours - but somehow, we found our way back to each other, and made time for one another. On July 1, 2021, Keaton asked me to be his girlfriend. And it wasn't just him asking - Myles had made a little canvas that read, "Will you be my dad's girlfriend?" along with a bouquet of flowers. That moment wasn't just a proposal; it was the start of our family, and it felt so perfectly right. Since that day, our journey together has been filled with laughter, growth, and unwavering love. On September 19, 2026, we get to celebrate that love - surrounded by our family and friends who have been there through it all.
