You may wonder Kung Fu Panda? Really? The short answer is Yes! Our very first date was when we were fifteen and couldn't even drive yet. Keaton invited me to a movie and due to us being only fifteen that was the only movie we could see. It was a very awkward date, no hand holding, no making out in the back of the movie theatre like you see on TV. In fact it was so awkward, Keaton thought I was never going to speak to him again! Spoiler alert! Fast forward to our Junior year of high school I was getting out of a relationship and Keaton being the good friend he was, texted me to see how I was handling it. A week later, we went out on our first date. We walked down town with my dog Shandy and along the beach while chasing down all the seagulls hand in hand. After that we watched the sun go down in his Jeep patriot and talked and laughed for hours. It was the perfect night and one I will never forget!

After our third date, Keaton thought it would be a good idea to be a gentleman and walk me to my front door. Upon arriving, he faced me, tilted his head down, and tried to kiss me. I say tried because instead of a return kiss, he got me starring him dead in the face like a deer caught in the head lights. I was TERRIFIED! He apologized and sped off. I thought we were finished! Thankfully he heard my plea of apology and we continued dating. Since then, I occasionally like to make the same face anytime he goes to kiss me. Just to keep him on his toes ;)

This story begins with a seven and a half hour trip to Slade Kentucky for a five year anniversary trip. We went on many amazing and breath taking hikes through the mountains. However, on our last day we decided we wanted to see a water fall. So we found a simple trail that we could bring Shepard along and set out for our hike. Upon coming to the bottom of Creations fall, I thought it would be a great idea for us to get a photo with Shep. As we are taking what I thought was family photos on top of the water fall, I turn to look at Keaton and he is on one knee grinning ear to ear. And honestly the rest is a blur. We were so wrapped up in the moment, smiling hugging, kissing that all we remember is me screaming YES!
