The ceremony is outdoors, so please be attentive to weather day of. The ceremony is located down a short trail that is not paved. For this reason, please be mindful as you walk and consider not wearing heels, especially stilettos. Mobility accommodations can be made - a groomsman will escort you by car within 20ft of the ceremony. Please let us know when you RSVP if this will be helpful for you.
The ceremony will be in the amphitheater near Abe Martin Lodge, where you can make hotel reservations for yourself. The reception will be at Abe Martin Lodge. The amphitheater has a very cool history. The Civilian Conservation Corps was a voluntary public work relief program that ran from 1933 to 1942 in the United States for unemployed, unmarried men ages 18–25 and eventually expanded to ages 17–28. President FDR established the CCC under the New Deal, and some men employed by the CCC actually built the amphitheater, completing it in 1936. The seats, stage, and steps were all made from native stone.
